The Wheeltapper still opens every day at 141 East 44th Street, between Lexington and Third Avenues, from 7:30 in the morning to 12:30 at night¹. We called it an upscale Irish pub in the Fitzpatrick Hotel for an after-work and tourist crowd; those hours start well before work lets out¹.
