Zeb Stewart and Alyssa Abeyta of Union Pool opened Hotel Delmano with Michael Smart in January 2008: a multiroomed hideaway with an Old World social club feel and a curved marble bar at its center1, 2. Drinks ran $9 to $14, and we said it introduced Williamsburg to the $14 cocktail, a price that once counted as news1. A French guide notes that it is no more a hotel than the Eagles' Hotel California, and it is still open on Berry Street, where another guide calls it Williamsburg's most serious cocktail bar3, 4, 5.
