Still pouring

Checked October 15, 2026.

Overview

A dark, crappy, and quickly becoming notorious student bar where the drinks are cheap, the dance floor is over-crowded, everyone's trashed, and the waitresses keep coming around with jello-shots. Naturally this can be a fantastic time if you're of a certain age or frame of mind.

History

Still there for a certain frame of mind

We once called Wicked Willy's a notorious student bar, the kind with cheap drinks, an overcrowded dance floor and waitresses making the rounds with Jell-O shots. A 2013 account found a pirate-themed bar that somehow managed to be a place for a variety of groups1. It's still at 149 Bleecker Street2.
