History

Premier League mornings, three bands by night

The Red Lion opened on Bleecker Street in 1984, and these days it opens its doors for Premier League mornings too¹. By night it runs a three-band rotation of live rock and blues until 4 in the morning, seven nights a week^{2, 3}. Since 2021 it has also been home to Brentford FC's New York supporters group, the only dedicated Bees bar in the city, and in 2026 it filled up for the World Cup¹.
