Overview

The low-key lounge space attached to Marion's Continental has abandoned the name Marquee Lounge and now goes by Antik.

History

The bar with no bar

Antik was a burgundy-draped lounge with no bar at all, only table service^{1, 2}. For something more casual, King's Cross, an English pub, was downstairs, pouring British beers like Samuel Smith and showing soccer on flat-screen TVs^{2, 3}. NoHo Green Oasis opened in the storefront at 356 Bowery in 2023⁴, and in 2024 Yawning Cobra opened downstairs in the old King's Cross space³.
