In 2002 the Village Voice called the back garden, with its dangly yellow and blue lights, flowery plastic tablecloths and villa-style fountain, an oasis off Williamsburg's main drag1. Our old listing credited a long bar, that back yard garden and a thriving happy hour with making it a Bedford Avenue staple. The kitchen has since bowed out: it no longer serves food, though customers are welcome to bring their own2.
