Overview

History

A little of everything, and now tacos

When we listed it, Sample was a rustic wine bar that also did cocktails, draft beer and small plates, and did them all well. It was, in DNAinfo's words, a low-key bar, and it shuttered in December 20141. On December 3, 2015, Fatty Daddy Taco opened in the space behind a brightly painted storefront near Bergen Street1. It's still at 152 Smith Street, open from 11am to 10pm2.
