Hallowed clutter, to the highest bidder

In March 2014 the Dakota Roadhouse at 43 Park Place had apparently lost its lease, and its barware and equipment were headed for the auction block, along with mountains of hallowed clutter, MTA signage and old tin breweriana^{1, 2}. No one at the bar had picked up the phone for a long time¹.
