Overview

This Chinatown gem has tin ceilings, dim lights, and a unique selection of organic wines. Throw in small plates like wild boar sausage, sea bass ceviche, and prociutto and goat cheese cigars, and you have a near perfect date spot.

History

A wine bar you don't have to study for

Two men from Paris opened the Ten Bells in 2008, on Broome Street just off Orchard1, 2. Punch credits it with introducing the city to the natural wine bar, a place where you didn't need to sit down and study a list2. Our old review called it a near perfect date spot, and The Infatuation agrees: if you've been since it opened, there's a good chance you were there on a date3. It's still at 247 Broome Street, pouring from a long, all-natural wine list3, 4.
