Overview

A huge multi-level Chinese restaurant with a Karaoke bar frequented by Asian businessman, their American counterparts, and the occasional hipster.

History

Thirty years from a single storefront

Congee Village started in a single Chinatown storefront, and the family-owned restaurant now counts more than 30 years of history1. When we listed it, we called it a huge multi-level Chinese restaurant with a karaoke bar, which is a long way from one storefront. By 2018 it had been at 100 Allen Street for 21 years2. It's open daily, until 10pm Sunday through Thursday and 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays1.
