Overview

It's hard to find much bad to say about a downtown New York bar with decent DJs, $2 pints of Budweiser, and a stipper pole. Well, at least not much that hasn't been said already.

History

Two-dollar Buds and a stripper pole

When we reviewed St. Jerome's, we found little bad to say about a downtown bar with decent DJs, two-dollar pints of Budweiser and a stripper pole, or at least not much that hadn't been said already. The Village Voice reported in October 2012 that the Rivington Street dive had "closed as we know it": its owner, Luc Carl, had sold the bar, and the lease was to switch over after November 11. What came after it, we couldn't find out.
