History

From the Suffrage Party to weekend TV

In 2008, 619 Manhattan Avenue was home to the club1; just under a century earlier, it had been the home of the Woman's Suffrage Party1. On any given weekend, a local blogger wrote, it was teeming with men socializing and watching television1. In 2023 the Bklyn Slovak American Citizen Club Inc., at the same address, came up for renewal of its social club license for liquor, wine, beer and cider2.
