History

The room stayed; the name moved to Flatiron

Milk and Honey was Sasha Petraske's bar on Eldridge Street1. Our old listing warned that you'd need a reservation to get in the door, and watched the cocktails climb from eight dollars to eleven to fifteen, losing much of their luster on the way.

By late March 2013 Milk and Honey had moved to its new location in the Flatiron District2. The old room didn't stay empty: Sam Ross and Michael McIlroy opened Attaboy in it2.

In June 2024 Grub Street still had Attaboy at 134 Eldridge Street, where it had been for the past 12 years1. That's a long time to be the new bar in an old room.
