Still not one of the cookie cutters

When we listed it, we said Second Avenue was lined with cookie-cutter Irish pubs that served more Bud than Guinness, and that this wasn't one of them. Fáilte is still an Irish pub at 531 Second Avenue¹. In May 2026 a reviewer found no faults with the Guinness but said the standout was the vibe: wooden bar, fireplace, low arches, "quite special for NYC"².
