History

Thirty-two TVs, give or take a million

Our listing let the numbers speak: thirty-two plasma TVs, three floors, Top Forty music and eight gazillion people jammed in on a Saturday night. In 2008 a Penn State blog, recommending it as the local Penn State bar, rounded up to a million flat screens and called it the best atmosphere its writer had experienced outside State College1. The address, 411 Third Avenue, now belongs to Bella Union, which was still drawing reviews in August 20262, 3.
