Overview

The Rook has a new name, but little else has changed. The beer selection is still great, and you're pretty much guaranteed to have the place to yourself most any night of the week.

History

The Rook by another name

Arrow was the Rook with a new name, and in our review the beer was still great and the room was yours most nights. The subterranean bar shut in January 20151, and by March 2015 the team behind Baby's All Right was relaunching the space as Elvis Guesthouse1. Drom, a separate venue, still shares the 85 Avenue A address2.
