Overview

A sports bar plain and simple. If there's a good game on the wall to wall projection screens there are few better places in the neighborhood to watch it. But failing that there's little to recommend.

History

From projection screens to creative salad

When we listed it, Firefly was a sports bar, plain and simple: few places in the neighborhood beat its wall-to-wall projection screens for a good game, and failing a good game there was little to recommend. In March 2014 Eater reported that the "creative salad" chain Chop't had opened in the space once occupied by Firefly, which Eater remembered as a club/sports bar1. Genkiya Mart, a Japanese grocery and deli, is on Spring Street now2.
