Overview

A corner location with garage door windows and interior lined on every surface with natural wood creates the perfect ambience for pork fat popcorn eating, oyster swallowing, and Belgian ale swilling.

History

Oysters, Belgian ale and pork fat popcorn

Spitzer's Corner sat at 101 Rivington Street1. When we listed it, we liked the garage-door windows, the wood on every surface, and the oysters, Belgian ale and pork fat popcorn. By November 2019 Pretty Ricky's occupied the spot, leaving what Cool Hunting called blurry memories of the beloved Spitzer's Corner2. Its own site still lists 101 Rivington Street3.
