History

What Jarrod's grew into

Before it was Notice Lounge, the place was Jarrod's, a hip-hop spot for many years¹. In September 2010 Notice Lounge & Cafe, at 198 Union Avenue, was hosting CASA Capicu on a Friday night².

Eventually it became Evil Olive Pizza Bar, with a hidden speakeasy called Geraldine's¹. Both closed in September 2020¹.

The address keeps coming back to pizza: The Pizza Inn opened in Evil Olive's old spot in October 2023³. The Walk Inn, a craft cocktail bar, is at 198 Union Avenue now⁴.
