Overview

Attractive upscale LES sports bar with 62 plasma TVs and private room. Sounds great? Wait til you get the bill. There's a minimum bill of $50/pp per hour for the cheap seats, and $150/pp per hour for a private room. Leaves you to wonder where exactly those blue seats are…

History

Where exactly were those blue seats?

The Blue Seats was an upscale sports bar at 157 Ludlow Street1, and we balked at its hourly minimum per person, even for the cheap seats. In April 2010 management said it was closed for good1, and general manager Robert Ceraso said he and his team were looking to reopen in Midtown1. By December 2024 the space was Apartment 5, a new cocktail bar2.
