History
A revolving door, then a locked one

The same reader said the landlord sold the building and the new owners pushed out the existing tenants1. Lumiere, which debuted in May 2014, and Casablanca each had short stints in the space; at the end of January 2016 the marshal seized the hookah bar-restaurant Tut there1, 2. By February 2022 the storefront at 189 East Third Street looked, to EV Grieve, as if it had been empty for eons2.
