History

A simple slogan: Beer Is Good

We called George Keeley a huge Irish pub for college kids and beer connoisseurs, and one of the few bars in town with a beer engine for cask-conditioned ale. By 2020 it had been open for nearly two decades, operating under the simple slogan "Beer Is Good"1. It's still at 485 Amsterdam Avenue, with beer on tap and in cans and bottles, cocktails, whiskey, wine and pub grub2.
