History

Twenty years, twice the taps

In August 2026 W42ST reported that Valhalla had been a popular Hell's Kitchen beer bar for 20 years¹. It's still at 815 Ninth Avenue². In 2009 we said the draw here was the beer, not the Nordic theme, and counted 24 taps; the bar now advertises 48 craft beers on tap³.
