Reasonably priced, and spelled two ways

Our old listing called Shebeen a reasonably priced, surprisingly comfortable South African bar. In April 2011 it turned up in a community board's resolutions at 202 Mott Street, spelled Sheebeen¹. By January 2014 the address was a previously licensed location, and Balzem was seeking a beer and wine license there²; the Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar opened in Nolita that May³. Balzem is still at 202 Mott Street, open until midnight Monday through Thursday⁴.
