History

Cute and cozy, then a premier development site

In 2013 a blogger called McKeown's cute and cozy¹. In 2021 EJS Group bought 1303-1309 Third Avenue, a "premier corner development site," for $32.325 million². That December it filed plans to demolish the 111-year-old, five-story building at 1303 Third Avenue that had been home to McKeown's Pub³. In its place, EJS planned a mixed-use building of shops and apartments³.
