Our old listing knew Essex as the home of the three-cocktail brunch, where a heavy pour left you a choice between more drinks and a nap. Essex was originally located in the Essex Street Market, and it embarked on what its site calls a new chapter in 2019¹. Time Out had it reopening at 124 Rivington Street on Thursday, October 30, 2025, and that's the address its site lists today^{1, 2}.
