History
What you'd expect from an Irish pub in North Jersey
In 2003 Francis McMahon, who owned McMahon's Brownstone Alehouse, put it this way: "This is a hard business, but the ban in New York is helping us"1. In 2011 Patch billed a night there as unpretentious and found the decor at 1034 Willow Avenue to be what you'd expect from an Irish pub in North Jersey: brick walls, wood paneling, Irish flags outside2. The address now belongs to a bar called The Ale House3.
