History

Seizing the day north of the viaduct

In July 2006 the owners seized the day, as they put it, and set up shop at 1405 Grand Street, "far from the maddening crowds of Hoboken's boisterous main drags"1. Since then the pub has watched the "NoVia" neighborhood, north of the viaduct, flourish1. Carpe Diem Pub & Restaurant is still at 1405 Grand Street1, 2.
