Overview

This is the Windsor Terrace neighborhood bar and what a bar it is. The space is comfortable. The jukebox is killer. The happy hour is long. And every broke indie kid in the hood comes here to be reminded of how lucky they were to be priced out of North Slope.

History

Seven pinball machines on Fifth Avenue

Buttermilk Bar is still at 577 5th Avenue, drawing reviews as recently as July 2026¹. In 2009 we sold it on the killer jukebox and the long happy hour; these days it's known for its seven pinball machines, a pool table and darts¹.
