History

From Mardi Gras to nap time

Back then we said the Big Easy captured the frat-party feel of Mardi Gras without all that distracting Cajun culture. The party ended on June 29, 2009, when the Department of Buildings issued a full vacate order for the building, concerned that it was in danger of collapse¹.

New buildings went up on the site, planned with private childcare on the ground floor run by Alef Bet Preschool².
