Overview

The view of Broadway from the 10th floor terrace combined with reasonably priced beers makes up for the fact that the bar itself could best be described as adequate.

History

New name, still a terrace over Times Square

We said the view of Broadway from the terrace made up for a bar we could only call adequate. The Novotel New York Times Square, its hotel, closed permanently at the end of 2020 because of the pandemic¹. The hotel was rebranded as M Social Times Square, whose bar and lounge, Beast & Butterflies, has a wraparound terrace overlooking Times Square and is open seven days a week^{1, 2}.
