Overview

It's 2001 a Space Odyssey meets K-town. Acrylic floors, cylindrical spaces, high-tech lighting and a scene as trendy as any bar in Seoul.

History

Still at the fancy end of K-Town

Maru opened in 2004, and the bi-level lounge is still at 11 West 32nd Street, on the third and fourth floors¹. We once called it a space odyssey in K-town, all acrylic floors and high-tech lighting, and a 2024 review still put it at the fancier end of the neighborhood's karaoke spots². Since 2011 the building has also held Food Gallery 32, a food court with 200 seats and seven stalls of Asian cuisines^{3, 4}.
