Overview

A bi-level sports, beer, and miserbale DJ bar. A decent place to watch the game - drinks are reasonably priced and booths have personal flat screens. On weekend nights the scene is ugly. We're talking clasic Bon Jovi and Apple Pucker shots ugly.

History

Every booth had its own flat screen

Back then we said Blackfin was a decent place to watch the game, with personal flat screens in the booths, and that weekend nights ran to classic Bon Jovi and Apple Pucker shots. Doug Quinn, the famed bartender formerly of P.J. Clarke's, opened Hudson Malone, a Midtown East bar and restaurant, in November 20131. It sits at 218 East 53rd Street, Blackfin's old address2.
