In 2003 Paul Sevigny hosted his first Smiths and Morrissey night at Sway, a Moroccan-ornamented watering hole in the western stretch of SoHo, and it became a cult hit with the cool crowd1. When we listed it, we called it that rare club whose crowd was beautiful, moneyed and, oddly enough, not the least bit boring. Thirteen years later Sevigny and his partner Brian McPeck opened Paul's Casablanca in the very same space, keeping the Moroccan motifs1. It's open Wednesday through Sunday, ten at night to four in the morning, still at 305 Spring Street2.
