History

Stained glass in the path of One Vanderbilt

Patrick Conway's was a stained-glass-filled bar on East 43rd Street, between Madison and Vanderbilt avenues1. In 2015 the developer of One Vanderbilt was demolishing the entire block, from 43rd Street through to 42nd, to put up the office building1. Ed Creed said he would shutter Patrick Conway's at the end of April that year1.
