Overview

Claim a window seat at this relaxed neighborhood bar and grab your friends for a drink as they walk home after work from the F train. On Thursdays and Saturdays the scene is turned upside down and the place becomes an improbably meatmarket as the hip-hop DJs take over.

History

No hoodies, no jerseys, no ball caps

The owners turned a neighborhood spot on First Avenue into a comfortable lounge¹. In 2010 the door barred ball caps, hoodies, sports jerseys and tank tops¹. We recommended a window seat, from which you could wave in friends walking home from the F train. Time Out still lists it at 15 First Avenue as a lounge and doesn't mark it closed¹.
