Overview

At Jeremey's there are 21 beers on tap, but from 8am to 10am Coors is the only one anyone's drinking. The morning special, a 32oz styrofoam cup of Coors brings in a crowd of fishmongers and a few stockbrokers looking to kick start the day. If you opt to avoid the morning crowds and have dinner the kitchen serves some unsurprisingly exceptional seafood.

History

A quart of Coors before ten

When we wrote it up, Jeremy's had twenty-one beers on tap, and from eight to ten in the morning the only one anyone drank was Coors, served by the quart in a styrofoam cup. The special drew fishmongers and a few stockbrokers looking to kick-start the day; dinner, we reported, was seafood, and unsurprisingly exceptional.

The bar dates from 1972, and founder Jeremy Holin gave it his name1. On September 11, 2001, the bar stayed open all day and night1.

In 2024 Lee Holin was running it at 228 Front Street1. It's still there: a listing carries a review dated August 15, 20262. Whether the morning Coors survived, the sources don't say.
