History
Masa's next-door bar, fourth floor, since 2004
Masa Takayama left Los Angeles to open Masa in 2004, and with it Bar Masa, right beside it on the fourth floor1, 2, 3. The bar itself is African bubinga wood, set against a wall of Japanese Oya limestone4. It's still there in The Shops at Columbus Circle, pouring cocktails and serving Chef Masa's food4, 5.
