Behind its huge glass windows, we said, was a warm and inviting corner bar, with thirty wines by the glass, ten beers on tap and a menu of small plates. Bar Tano opened at 457 Third Avenue in 2007, and in 2020 the space turned into Sweet Talk¹.

Sweet Talk, a tropical restaurant and bar, closed on August 31, 2025¹. The space is for lease now: 2,000 square feet of restaurant or retail space and a 1,000-square-foot backyard, in a listing that calls it Park Slope².
