Overview

This long saloon bar aims to be Park Slope's answer to the likes of cocktail focused bars like Pegu Club or Milk & Honey. Hopefully a fireplace, and dark wood interior will help it keep a cozy neighborhood vibe despite a location just down the street from a giant new condo development.

History

Park Slope's answer, to a different question

When we listed it, we said the Dram Shop aimed to be Park Slope's answer to cocktail bars like Pegu Club and Milk & Honey, and hoped its fireplace and dark wood would keep a cozy neighborhood vibe. It now calls itself a neighborhood sports bar and restaurant, serving American fare with a Tex-Mex twist for almost 20 years1, with pool, darts and board games, and kids eating free on Saturdays1. Still at 339 9th Street1, it kept the neighborhood part.
