Overview

Tiny tapas restaurant and wine bar serves sangria three ways: red pear, white peach, and sparkling strawberry. They also will serve wine in the Catalon tradition of a porron - a spiggoted vessel that when used properly opens up the wine as it flows, but in unskilled hands can warrant a trip to the dry cleaners.

History

Wine from a porrón, at your own risk

We once noted that its porrón, a spouted wine vessel in the Catalan tradition, could warrant a trip to the dry cleaners in unskilled hands. In 2018 it was still a tiny spot, ideal for affordable drinks and tapas with a small group1. It has since closed for good1, and Burgers & Beer now has the address, 170 West 4th Street2.
