When we listed it, the Albatross was a former biker bar turned friendly gay and lesbian joint. It's still pouring at 36-19 24th Avenue, which its own site places in Astoria1, and it bills itself as the Queer Cheers of Astoria1. It stays open until 4am every night, from 5pm on weekdays and 3pm on weekends1.
