Overview

Two floors of wall to wall windows give a unique feel to this corner bar. The cozy sofas and the window view upstairs make for a great date place, while the downstairs is always convivial.

History

Two floors of windows, three levels of nightlife

We used to send people upstairs for the sofas and the window view on a date, and downstairs when they wanted company. In 2010 Time Out said 2A remained a place nearly everyone in the neighborhood likes to visit¹. It still holds the corner of Avenue A and East 2nd Street, and now bills itself as three levels of high-energy nightlife². Below the bar is Berlin, an intimate lower-level club³.
