History

Behan's outlasted its own basement fire

Behan's, a family-run bar at the center of Woodlawn's Irish community, had a fire start in its basement at about 10:30 one night in August 2013¹. No one was hurt¹. Behan's is still listed at 4299 Katonah Avenue².
