History
A little secretive, by Ditmars standards
In August 2016 We Heart Astoria counted Les Amis as one of just two spots on the Ditmars strip that were anything like a speakeasy, meaning a little secretive1.
In November 2018 the old Les Amis space at 31-17 Ditmars Boulevard was apparently becoming NYMF Bar, a self-described biker/dive bar, which is about as far from secretive as a bar gets2. Today the address belongs to BLVD, a lounge that has been hiring since April 20253, 4. The sign has changed more often than the address.
