History

The bar that started a book club

In 2014 Sinead Curran, a bartender at the Courtyard, noticed that many of her customers enjoyed reading and talking about books, and with the support of Pat Burke, an owner, she started a book club at the bar¹. It's listed today as the Courtyard Ale House, still at 40-18 Queens Boulevard^{2, 3}.
