History

Twelve TVs, two pool tables, one jockey

Paddy Maguire's Ale House is a cozy Irish bar run by a former jockey, Patrick Maguire, and hung with horse-racing photos and other equestrian memorabilia^{1, 2}. Our old review, which spelled it McGuire's, counted sixteen beers on tap and two pool tables, and asked what more you could need. The answer turned out to be 12 flat-screen TVs showing American and European sports³. Later listings count 15 taps, and the two pool tables are still in back^{2, 3}.
