When we listed it, our entire write-up was: third-floor karaoke parlor. By July 2010 the company had Karaoke Duet 48, the little sister of Duet 35, at 304 East 48th Street in Midtown East¹. It had 16 private rooms, more than 18,000 English songs, and in every room a phone with a direct line to the bar for drinks and Japanese snacks¹. The company's website now lists Duet 48 as newly renovated².
