History

Seven hundred square feet of Christopher Street

Boots and Saddle's longtime home at 76 Christopher Street measured 700 square feet¹. As rents there approached $20,000 a month, co-owners Ron Silver and Rob Ziegler made plans to leave¹, and in 2015 the bar moved to Seventh Avenue South². In February 2018 city marshals seized the new location, at 100A Seventh Avenue South, and closed it down².
