History

The Giraffe outlived the restaurant

Barna, in the Hotel Giraffe, has closed¹. By June 2011 the address, 365 Park Avenue South, had Bread & Tulips, a "refined-rustic" Italian joint². Since 2024 it has been home to Audace, Italian fine dining with a rooftop and a cocktail bar^{3, 4}. The Giraffe itself is still standing at Park Avenue South and East 26th Street⁵.
